Emily Hughes investigates how Australians, Americans and Vietnamese remember this defining moment in our shared history.
Emily is a 21 year old undergraduate student at the University of Queensland. She is about to commence her fifth year of study, having undertaken a bachelor of journalism majoring in popular music and a bachelor of arts majoring in classical history and languages. Emily is looking forward to gaining experience reporting overseas in Vietnam. As a keen student of history, culture and languages, she is excited to face the challenge of working within a country vastly different from Australia.
